Would you mind advising how snug the fit of the Sonos one is for the Sony PRS-505 and whether it has a lanyard on it please? Finally, are you comfortable with the protection level, given that i assume you take the PRS-505 out of its case? Would you perceive any benefit in using a silicon sleeve with it?

Many thanks,

Turns out ours are Aquapac too - I'd forgotten and you can't see it in the picture on the SimplySonos site. I think it's a 364 but I can't be sure as I threw away the packaging and it doesn't have a model number on the case.

Here's a photo of it in action. I find the fit perfect - not too snug that you can't get it in but close enough that it doesn't rattle around. There's about an inch or two of space at the top of the pouch but I let that hang down over my hand and it partly takes the weight of the device. The translucent blue bits are slightly rubberised and give a good grip. As for protection I wouldn't chuck it in a rucksack just in this case but it's brilliant for the bath - my already lengthy baths are even longer now! Goes great with bubbles...

I don't know whether you'd be able to get the Sony in there inside a silicone sleeve - I just swap between the "leather" case that came with the device for normal reading and transport and the Aquapac for bath time.
