- Android isn't designed for e-ink screens, and seems to require a lot of effort to make work well. Why aren't Boox on Android 12, 18 months after it was released?
- Android ereaders require more battery, RAM and CPU compared to Linux ereaders, yet are not (eg Boox Leaf 2) considered fast ereaders. For example most Boox devices have >2000mAh batteries, 2+GB RAM and quad core CPUs, most PocketBooks have <2000mAh batteries, 1GB or less (!) RAM and dual core CPUs.
