You have to delete the sql database that the kobo shipped with, (or you can just use the Log Out feature in the Kobo UI.)... Kobo will generate a new blank database that does not include these placeholder book entries.

PS, if you have firmware 4.31 or newer, it is no longer necessary to use SQLLite data entry. Enabling SideloadMode in the config file is much easier. (And will survive database resets.)
