I grabbed Sysinternals Process Monitor and recorded Calibre during the error
I have attached the output of procmon in native and CSV formats.
I get 4 events like this one before Calibre shows me the error message:
2:22:39.3162815 PM calibre.exe 34900 SetDispositionInformationEx C:\Users\Richard\Calibre Library\Aaron Allston\Star Wars_ Fate of the Jedi_ Backla (2247) CANNOT DELETE Flags: FILE_DISPOSITION_DELETE, FILE_DISPOSITION_POSIX_SEMANTICS, FILE_DISPOSITION_FORCE_IMAGE_SECTION_CHECK
I am totally open to the idea that this is some weird interaction on my system. Unfortunately for me Calibre is the only application to exhibit symptoms.
