Slightly (I thought schools were teaching basic computer user skills after all the funding we voted . From all the questions is see here, that lesson seems to have been skipped. BTW one of the reasons I keep my system near 'vanilla', is to allow me to describe to a remote user, what to look for. Almost impossible if they have a cute theme applied )

Watch your mouse arrow as you move between areas of almost any program. It changes to a double bar with arrows (with normal system supplied mouse pointers.) when the boundary is adjustable. 'Details' has 2 that I have seen. Calibre has done a great job sticking with GUI 'standards of use'

At the edge of windows: it changes to just a double headed arrow, indicating the window can be resized (there) by dragging in the arrow directions.
