I have had a Paperwhite 5 for over a year and am happy with it. I use a combination of dark mode and warm lighting to read at night, which works very well. I'm also happy with the size, which I generally prefer over a 6 inch ereader. I got a very good third party case for mine that has a stand and a hand strap inside the front cover.
