I'm sorry, but you can't blame society for a lack of ethics in these kids. Blame their parents, perhaps, for not teaching them the difference between right and wrong, but they were well aware of the law, and they chose to regard themselves as "above" it.

I find it very sad that it should have come to that, but if you commit a crime, you have to pay the penalty. This isn't some small-time personal downloading - these are people who have been raking in
millions of dollars by cynically and knowingly breaking the law, and now they're being punished for it.
