The most belligerent bird might be the European Robin. It's song means "I'll kill you if you come closer" and most males will tear any realistic male robin model to pieces. They are not scared of humans either.

A friend wondered how to dispose of his old settee.
"Put it in the garage with your dog and in a few days you'll be able to put a few bits in the bin each week."

It worked. Dog tended to get bored locked in garage all day when they were both out to work. He'd already had to stop storing cans of beer and spare light bulbs there.
