As long as a book is in a format for which I have DRM stripping capability, it makes little difference to me if a book has DRM or not. The first thing I do with a new book is strip the DRM, then I convert it to formats that I can read on my various readers. LRF or EPUB for my Sony 505, Mobi for my Windows Mobile phone and PC.

That, BTW leaves Sony's LRX store out in the cold. All they would have to do is support Mobi and I would be more than happy to buy from them. As it is, I have stricken them from my favorites.

The inability to strip DRM from Kindle is also what is preventing me from buying one of those, I really wish Sony had word search. When I see reports that the JetBook is working well with the Mobi and ePub formats, it will be a serious contender on my wish list.
