Since I last posted, I've read
A View of the Harbour by Elizabeth Taylor which was excellent. My favorite of her novels that I've read.
I've started:
- They Were Found Wanting by Miklós Bánffy, the second of his Transylvania Trilogy. Jury's still out on whether it will be as fun and compelling as the first. So far it's been going over old ground.
- Red Land, Black Land by Barbara Mertz, which is somewhat folksier than I'd like, but given how little I know about ancient Egypt it might be just as well.
