Pining for Irex maybe a dead end.
The mobi implementation in the iliad i think is proprietary to Mobipocket.
I am not sure how different mobi is in other devices like hanlins, cybook etc., in comparison with the iliad.
Since this implementation seems to be a basic one, is it possible to post requests to Mobipocket to improve their s/w?
On further thoughts, is it possible to hack some and pull the mobi from the hanlins and put them into the iliad? May not be legal though..
