On my Sage, the battery life is a bit better with the newer firmware by approximately 15-20% in my tests. Given the Sage uses a 4 core CPU which takes more power than my Forma's single core CPU when both are in their normal idle state, I expected a lower battery life. OTOH, I normally read with the frontlight at 6 and WiFi and Bluetooth off.

On the bright side, it's has the longest battery life of any of my devices that I use everyday and transfers and imports take less time.
