In fact it will confuse the issue even more, how will the retailers differenciate between the different 'flavours' of ePub? There is non-DRM, Adobe-DRM, and perhaps soon to be eReader-DRM. So far they all seem to marketed as "ePub" with no differentiator. I consider myself pretty tech savy and I'm already getting confused. At least the other DRM formats have unique names so I know which ones to avoid/adapt and which ones I can just load and go onto my Cybook/BeBook.
