The Kobo Touch (N905) was released in 2011 with version 3.19 and Freescale i.MX508 CPU/SoC. It's Kobo3. It also uses a different eInk panel (Pearl) apart from the touch feature.
The 2010 Kobo Wifi/Wireless has no touch screen (variously N647 N47 and N289) and CPU is Freescale i.MX335, so unlikely to be compatible. It was Kobo's second ever eink, so probably Kobo2. The first had USB only. Earlier Kobo ereaders used LCD panels. The 1st & 2nd Kobo eink seem to use the greyer panel before the Pearl model.
