Odd. That happened back in 2009 and the only version of
1984 that was removed was an unauthorized version from MobileReference. And from what I remember, it was only removed if it was purchased from Amazon since the removal was done over Whispernet and was specific to that edition. Oddly, no one seems to have complained that at the same time, the unauthorized edition of
Animal Farm from the same source was also removed.
