I messed up my ereader while doing an upgrade, tried to do factory reset and somehow made it even worse, I see an empty screen with "resetting device" and a loading indicator in the middle, the screen is frozen like what happens when the battery runs out, I tried connecting it to power and doing a hard reset using a pin but it didn't help.

here but I can't find `.kobo` folder, I see:
