Even if it's nice to have 300ppi, if nothing else for "nerdy calmness", the real reason I would like 300ppi is that I would get higher resolution. On a 10"+ screen, that would display quite a lot of real estate at once, very useful in some non-fiction books and especially pdf-files. As it is now, the actual resolution is lower than on the Sage I believe.

300ppi and I would have bought it. (If I get the chance to try it, I may still buy it for the writing functionality.)
