Are there performance issues? Has anyone got any relevant experience?
Is it a sensible thing to do?
Thanks for any comments.
It's like using the Android versions on an eInk screen. Not quite the same as the "native" readers. Book selection is by scrolling and mildly annoying on eInk but it works. Reading is fine once you get into it. Sometimes with the Kindle app you will get visible "page slide" animations. I mainly notice this with graphic novels/manga. It's better if you tap to turn the page rather than swipe. Kobo app is fine so long as you tap.

I think being able to have Kobo/Kindle/Google Play Books/Libby etc. all on one device is where the Boox devices shine. The experience is not perfect but it works pretty well.
