Note 2 // How to reinstall factory 3.3.1 update?

I rooted the device running 3.3.1 with the 3.3.1 boot image using the methods posted here (much easier than I thought, I'm on Linux) and went through the process of debloating (with uninstall, not disable) and the Notes app started acting weird.

After a reboot, I can open a new or existing note and scribble in it, then if I close and try to open a new or existing note, it just sits at Loading... It doesn't ever load and only a reboot will "fix" it.

I tried a factory data reset and it's not fully resetting the device. It seems to clear a few settings and even walks me through some initial setup items, but most of my stuff is there.

I also put the original boot.img back on and uninstalled Magisk, no change.

I tried to run adb reboot recovery and also tried the power button+back button method to get into recovery, none work.

Soooo, I figured if I could just reload the entire 3.3.1 firmware from scratch I could start over and try again.

EDIT: Fortunately Universal Android Debloater was able to "restore" the uninstalled apps and everything now is back to normal, somewhat. Notes is working, but I tried a Factory Data Reset again and it's not actually resetting. My files, books, notebooks, they're still there.

I also noticed that Magisk appears to be "Installed" even after changing boot.img back and uninstalling the Magisk app, how to remove?
