It's a well klnown fact that Sony restricts free books to the US only because it costs considerably more to prepare an ebook for Canadian readers. The number of 'eh's' they have to add makes a free book cost prohibitive. LOL
Truth is it seems idiotic not to make the same books available to either country. They give away books to boost sales of a particular author and you'd think they would want as wide an audience as possible. Go figure.
