Not so much that I am personally offended, more a matter of wanting MobileRead to remain as a resource.

Whether you are given, download or whatever other methods of obtaining an ebook you can think of, unless the ebook is in the public domain or the rights holder has allowed the ebook be freely shared, that is an act of ebook piracy.

MobileRead does not condone ebook piracy. If nothing else, this keeps the lawyers away.
