If you have set "Book metadata location" to "book folder", all the metadata for a <book-name.epub> is stored in a folder <book-name.sdr> located in the book folder.
You can move a book together with its sdr folder to any location, the metadata is preserved.
When you move books by KOReader file browser, the metadata is moved automatically.
