I posted on here a little while ago that I managed to get a 505 for my wife for $15 at circuit city whilst they were closing down (ex employee) and had tonnes of trouble with it with its demo firmware, and my god it was black with dirt.

None the less I got it all working for my wife with the help of you wonderful people.

At the time I was thinking I hate it compared to my 500, I prefer the blue casing I have and the button layout on the 500 is much nicer.
But now she is using it and we read the same books at the same time I have noticed that her 8 scale screen is much better than my 4, I can barely see my screen when the light levels get just a bit low, yet I can see her text from across the room.

So Im thinking of trading up, does Sony still have a deal to trade in my old 500 I heard about once?
And as much as I love the blue of my 500 I am quite taken with the red 505, but the 700 looks nice.
Is the 700 much better than the 505? the build in light would be handy but the touch screen seems a gimic and the page turn buttons look completely in the wrong place.

Any thought anyone?
