Thanks for the heads-up. I went and opened my Kindle for Mac app and got a pop-up notifying me of a new version: 1.40.1 (65626). No forced update. I clicked whatever the affirmative was. The "What's New" pop-up simply offers the very unhelpful: "This update includes stability improvements and bug fixes." A quick look around and I'm not seeing any changes.

@jhowell: Anything in particular you'd like me to check?
