Today, after a long period of disuse, I found my old Kobo Aura H202 (Model N867). I've previously used koreader on it, originally through Kobo Start Menu, then kfmon, but after a firmware update it hung on load (when I press the KOReader kfmon shortcut).

I tried reinstalling (using the latest one click install scripts), and factory resetting my kobo, but even in the newly reset state it still hangs the device on load.

Is this a known issue? Are there any logs I can extract to try and diagnose the problem? The kfmon logs appear to wipe on boot, and since I have no way of exiting the hang beyond a reboot I can't see if they contain anything useful.

Edit: The screen brightness does change when I launch koreader, so it's getting far enough to load that saved value.
