That's what I thought re the writing functionality - and, three months later, I hardly do any reading at all!

I have done so many puzzles (I send them to my Scribe each morning from The Times UK), and last year I started learning coding, and I've starting using the notebooks for this all the time - something I never envisaged at all. But the writing feels so nice, especially with the new fountain pen, that it is a great way for me to keep my notes organized in one place instead of in various paper notebooks that I never pick up after use (and just end up cluttering my house up).
I purchased a great notebook template on Etsy (goes into the PDFs of the Library section, not Notebooks) and it has a contents page, plus a section list for each section, so it has a kind of organizational tree within the notebook. It's really keeping my complicated notes organized.
I also bought a weekly planner template from Etsy which is easily replacing my Filofax - although I am still noting down my projects, PO and invoice details on the paper copy for my tax records. I don't fully trust the kindle to keep my business records safe.
I love this device, but I did not predict that it would pretty much stop me reading.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
