I do not believe the replacement of images with an image placeholder can possibly be caused by anything but Calibre. I
did open Calibre after I installed it. I must have unintentionally caused it to do what it did. The word processor cannot generate an image to replace a pasted image.
Please help me get rid of this. If not, I am going to have to format my C drive.
