The first series was okay to have on when cross stitching, but I found it very bleak and depressing. The second season started the same. I didn't even watch the second episode. I had planned to, but forgot about it and after I just didn't feel like watching it anyways.

Yes, the young'uns on IMDB, etc. keep calling it
NOIR but I don't think that they know the meaning of that word....lol. Noir is one thing. Abnormally depressing--patently on purpose--is something else altogether.
