I find RMSDK to be more stable. As for the speed, there is no noticeable difference. I have KePub set to render with Kerning, ligatures, and hyphenation. But the issue with the first line of the next page and sometimes odd letter spacing is why I read ePub.
I've not had RMSDK freeze. I did have some issues with Access (KePub renderer) in a previous firmware where if I plugged the Libra 2 into the USB while displaying a KePub eBook, sometime it would look and I'd have to hold the power button to get it to reboot. The solution that worked is to go to the home screen and then plug into the USB port of the computer.
