Seems like an elegant use for an old Kobo when you upgrade to the next.
Like LED-segment display alarm clocks, it may outlast its contemporary tech peers.
Except maybe content customized to new reality, e.g. charge level of vehicle, instructions from chatgpt overlord,etc...
