E-Books available only on Amazon when Amazon currently has the only "secure" drm scheme? Coincidence?
It is a choice. Amazon gives the option to voluntarily give them exclusives. It makes the publishers look foolish. If Adobe decides to counter the offer by tightening their DRM scheme, they will shoot themselves in the foot. Everybody will have unbreakable DRM, except Amazon imprints. That will give Amazon an advantage.
