After the uninstall, have you checked that Calibre actually really IS gone?
Somehow your attempts to open Calibre point to the wrong EXE. Why? Sorry, I don't know! But maybe this C:/D: could play a part. The old EXE must still be around somewhere!
(I don't know much about the workings of Windows, but I'm usually pretty good at brain-storming even about things I know nothing about, so I thought I'd at least try...)
