Current Android version on it is Marshmallow 6.01 which was the last official release. I've played with unofficial updates up to Android 9 and there are reports that Android 12L has been ported to run on both the WiFi only and the Wifi/cellular models as part of LineageOS 19.1. It's the Nexus 7 2013 so a just a bit dated.
