Maybe they did reach out to their Amazon subscribers. But I haven't seen anything on social media or any announcements on their web pages.  (From what I understand, they will be on Kindle Unlimited.)

I’m glad to hear that! I will gladly subscribe to Clarkesworld directly if necessary, or do the Patreon route. I already get Lightspeed from Weightless Books.
