But Send To Kindle might use a mile of wire and 1000s of miles of fibre and a huge amount of energy.
WiFi is only wireless to the nearest router.
Mobile/Cell is wireless to the base-station, then wired or fibre. Mobile/Cell uses over 1000x the electricity per Mbit of speed compared to xDSL and worse compared to Fibre, even if last 20m (approx 60ft) is WiFi.
Also I hardly ever need the charger, the PC/Laptop charges the eReader.
