Question USBNetwork toggle not working - no USB

--------------

EDIT: Sorry - scratch this; it was a faulty cable (well, two actually) in the end.

--------------

Hello all,

I have a little USB issue with my jailbroken KO3. For context, the Kindle was jailbroken with WatchThis while on 5.14.2, then updated to 5.15.1; all packages (including USBNet 0.22.N) were reinstalled after the update.

When plugging in USB, nothing happens, either on the Kindle nor on the PC. In KUAL, USBNetwork Status returns:
Code:
N * USBNetwork: enabled (usbnet, sshd up) *
When I try to toggle USBNetwork, I get this:

Code:
N switching from usbnet to usbms
N W must be plugged in to safely do that
I get this message regardless of whether the USB cable is connected or not.

I also cannot enable SSH over Wifi; I get this error:

Code:
N Enable SSH over Wifi
N W must be in ubsms mode to safely do this
In fact most operations in the USBNetwork KUAL page return this error.

I tried multiple cables and multiple PCs, all with the same result. The Kindle does not appear in the Device Manager at all. Network info (via ;711) only shows the Wifi IP address.

I can access the filesystem through the KOReader terminal emulator, but right now it seems there is no way to transfer anything to the kindle.

Would anyone have an idea of what the issue might be? Thanks!
