Jessie Mihalik, author of the Consortium series, Starlight's Shadow series, and several other books, sent out an email that she is nearing the end of her web serial short story,
Books & Broadswords.
Of course, I had no idea she was doing a web serial to start with (!), but I checked it out, and it's a fun little romance that she originally started for Valentine's Day. Per the comments in the latest installment, there is only one more chapter to go, and an epilogue. So if you want to check it out, do it soon! I tore through the first eight "chapters" and really liked it - of course, the "chapters" are pretty short, since it's a short story.
