Hi,
I installed KOReader on my Libra 2 and while I love the options once in the book (status bar, style tweaks, gestures, navigation, etc), I have to say that the KOReader library leaves a lot to be desired compared to the default Kobo library.
I miss the one tap library search and the collections/series tabs.
I expected a little better than a file browser-like display. 16 pages of authors is anything but convenient.
It's also impossible to sort my books by series order and name.
By the way, it lacks quite a few sorting options:
- By number of books for each author/collection/series.
- By number of words/pages (data available thanks to the "Count Pages" Calibre plug-in.
- By reading status: unread, in progress, finished ("Sort by percentage" does not seem to work properly. The authors are sorted alphabetically.)
Any way to transfer reading status/location of each book between default Kobo and KOReader please?
Does the use of KOReader have an impact on the battery life?
I think I know the answer but is it possible to read a book with KOReader but browse the library with the built-in Kobo interface?
