There are many choices but they aren't cheap: Kindle Scribe, Kobo Elipsa, Pocketbook Inkpad X, etc.

If she settles for a worse resolution (150DPI) there is the Pocketbook InkpadLite that should be cheaper.

Of course: no built-in keyboard (but nowadays it is not necessary HIMO).
