Even better than that, the KDE
kicker app works a treat - it shows all the (Iliad's) windows on the selector panel and lets you choose one to bring to the front. So I can now launch minimo, xpdf etc etc.
... and external links work from minimo!!! ...
I'm off to see if ftp:// links work.. If they do, then we'll be there.
