Maybe he meant the 'Inspector' (see the attached screenshot). I use the inspector a lot, but mostly inside the Editor. It is useful to find CSS conflicts.

To use it in the Viewer, just press 'Esc' to show the controls, and choose 'Inspector' at the bottom.

On the inspector window, you can hover the paragraphs and they are highlighted on the Viewer window.

P.S.: It is easier to use it inside the Editor, because the Viewer has a lot of extra HMTL/CSS. The book content is inside '#document'.
