None of the 4 Amazon customer service people I spoke with last night had a clue. Always a new disappointment with Amazon, continually increasing prime membership fees while reducing prime membership benefits. No behemoth company is ever too big or clever to fail; hope they get some less creepy less greedy people at the top soon.
Download & Transfer via USB no longer works with any Kindle Unlimited/Prime eBooks. If they were published before January 3, 2023, you can download them with an older KindleForPC (or MAC). New KU/Prime eBooks you need to either buy them, have a Kindle Touch/K3/KK, or use the Blustacks method with an older Android Kindle app.
