Uncheck the 'Search Title/Author' option. FFF Config, General tab, right hand side towards the middle in Misc Options.
However, you will potentially have problems sending books to devices if you have multiple with the same title and author.
Honestly, adding something to titles (or authors) for the newer site with a replace_metadata setting is likely the best bet.
