Fonts have Licenses.
You can't just add them, especially if the book is for distribution. Each font hast terms that must be followed. A few are Free (legally)
Polish does have an option to embed referenced fonts.
The burden is on you if you tick that box.
The other option is for you to carefully substitute a similar, cheap (legal) font.
Auto just is not a good plan
