From the GUI you can create / delete / copy / etc only inside your home directory /home/huber70
Outside is usually done with the command line (that's the way I do it and learned from the internet.)
Actually I connect to my Pi with SSH (command line) from my Hackintosh.
I don't usually use the GUI as it is mainly used as a server without monitor, keyboard and mouse attached.
