The red highlighted part is a little bit garbled as it looks like the opposite of what is meant. The original "These files can be DeDRM'd." means that the DRM can be removed. Google did a pretty good job of trying to interpret it to apply DeDRM treatmeant without knowing that the treat is to remove a feature not add it. You might need to turn translate on and off to see the differences.

I have actually never used the programme, but have always used the web browser.
Now when I download books via Kindle for Mac they are in kfx format. So useless. But as long as it's via the browser, I'll keep buying the books from Amazon.
