Please read this thread fully. Sigil is very stable on Windows, macOS and Linux. If you are seeing frequent crashing then something on your specific systems is interfering with Sigil and causing the crash.

There are details in this thread that describe ways to track down the broken item and remove it. Even brand new Windows 11 systems can come with broken drivers, or broken third party Qt based system extensions for sound, etc.

Please try what was described here and report back on what the culprit broken driver is.
