I guess it depends on how you define better and worse. I couldn't read with the reader up close to my face - glasses or no glasses (I normally wear multifocals). Close-up vision is one of the things I really miss from my youth. With vision like I used to have I might even have been able to repair the Aura One! (Well, maybe not, vision wouldn't make me any more skilled with a soldering iron and I never was that good.

Still, it's interesting that you can see such a noticeable difference.
I just got out a magnifying glass and still have trouble picking it. Side-by-side I can see there is a difference, I can see that the Libra 2 doesn't need so much brightness to achieve the same level of contrast, but it's not obvious when the readers are apart.
