So they vanish from the font list?

I'd never see that due to (a) never using the Font list (except straight out of the box out of curiousity) and (b) I've never sideloaded fonts on any ereader or gadget (such as Android).

Due to DTP activities I did reach the limit on fonts on Windows For Workgroups 3.11, but that was very long ago.
