I also have the fabric cover for my Oasis, and it has not worn in the same way. My Scribe is just over a month old. Plus the fabric is different, it seems to have an elasticizer in it, weirdly enough, this is fraying away in ribbons from the sides.

I haven’t had any luck with a generic replacement cover, so I’ll contact Amazon CS soon and see what they say. I don’t fancy trying the leather one on the off chance it might not have this plasticizer, feels like I would be throwing good money after bad.
